TALK BY MARTA RECASENS OF GOOGLE

On Friday April 24th Marta Recasens, a Research Scientist at Google and an affiliate of CLiC, will give a talk hosted by Lyn Walker‘s Natural Language and Dialogue Systems group in the UCSC School of Engineering. The talk is entitled The Long Tail of Coreference Resolution and it will focus on the problem of coreference resolution from an NLP perspective. It will give an overview of the task of coreference resolution and the strengths and weaknesses of state-of-the-art systems, focusing on two aspects of the `long tail’ of unresolved problems.
