UNDERGRADS ELECTED TO PHI BETA KAPPA

An impressive number of Language Studies and Linguistics majors have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest undergraduate honors organization in the United States. Members are elected (= invited to join) on the basis on their academic records, which must include a broad program of study in the liberal arts and sciences. This year, 6 Language Studies majors and 11 Linguistics majors were elected:
