TOOSARVANDANI’S NORTHERN PAIUTE PROJECT IN THE NEWS

A recent article in Earth Island Journal describes efforts to document and maintain Northern Paiute, a critically endangered Uto-Aztecan language. Prominently featured in the article is Maziar Toosarvandani’s project with Toza Gracie Dick, a native speaker of Northern Paiute, to document the dialect of Northern Paiute spoken in Bridgeport, California.
