s/lab: Tuesday, 3:00-4:00 PM, LCR: Lyn Frazier (UMass Amherst) will present work on topic situations and domain restriction. In addition, from 4:00-5:00 PM, members presenting at the California Meeting on Psycholinguistics (CAMP) this upcoming weekend at UCSC will practice their talks and posters.
SPLAP: Thursday, 12:00-1:00 PM, LCR: Members will discuss Gordon et al. (1993), “Pronouns, names, and the centering of attention in discourse.”
Phlunch: Friday, 12:00-1:00 PM, LCR: Vishal Arvindam will lead discussion of Hayes et al. (2009), “Natural and unnatural constraints in Hungarian vowel harmony.”
