DIZIKES FACULTY TEACHING AWARD CALL

Nominations of Humanities faculty for the Dizikes Faculty Teaching Award are still open! Current graduate and undergraduate students and recent alumni are invited to nominate faculty for consideration for this annual award.

This award recognizes Humanities faculty for transformative teaching in the liberal arts and effective mentoring of students, both undergraduate and graduate. Nominations are due to the faculty member’s home department by Monday, March 1, 2021. DAVID A. KADISH HUMANITIES SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CALL

Applications for David A. Kadish Humanities Scholarship Award are still open! If you’re a UC Santa Cruz undergraduate student with financial need who displays a strong interest in the study of the humanities, you may be eligible for this $2000 award. The application deadline is Friday, April 2, 2021. Anyone interested can submit their application here (remember to log into your ucsc.edu Google account to use this form).

LAW WINS GLOBAL CLASSROOMS AWARD

Jess Law was selected in fall 2020 for a Global Classrooms award. In 2021-22, Jess will bring together students from UCSC and students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China in the Global Classroom course The Structure of Chinese Languages. More details can be found here.
