Nominations of Humanities faculty for the Dizikes Faculty Teaching Award have started! Current graduate and undergraduate students and recent alumni are invited to nominate faculty for consideration for this annual award.
This award recognizes Humanities faculty for transformative teaching in the liberal arts and effective mentoring of students, both undergraduate and graduate. Nominations are due to the faculty member’s home department by Monday, March 1, 2021. Anyone interested can submit their nomination here (remember to log into your ucsc.edu Google account to use this form).
Applications for David A. Kadish Humanities Scholarship Award have started! If you’re a UC Santa Cruz undergraduate student with financial need who displays a strong interest in the study of the humanities, you may be eligible for this $2000 award. The application deadline is Friday, April 2, 2021. Anyone interested can submit their application here (remember to log into your ucsc.edu Google account to use this form).
